Came across an interesting interaction on Twitter thanks to a Billy Corben retweet: Andrew Mossberg asking Miami Beach Mayoral Candidates Philip Levine what he will do about bad cops.
What will Mayor Levine do about bad cops? http://t.co/4AqsPv9yjM @VoteLevine

In case you don’t know Mossberg made some headlines this week when the Miami NewTimes broke the story of his broken face. Mossberg was beaten to a bloody pulp by an undercover Miami Beach officer, when he intervened on what he thought was a purse snatching.
Corben, ever the instigator, jumped in on the inquiry.
@aemossberg @VoteLevine I'd be interested in hearing the answer to this question.

Fix-it-Philip wouldn’t engage on the social media site, but his reasoning that such a complex issue couldn’t be resolved in a tweet sounds about right to us. Levine invites Mossberg to a face to face.
@BillyCorben @aemossberg This serious, unfortunate issue can't be summed up in 140 characters but I'd be happy to address it w/you in person

Except it appears Mossberg had already brought this up to him at one of his “friend-raisers” before the media got wind of the story. Looks like Mossberg didn’t get a satisfactory response, but he will try again next week.
@VoteLevine @BillyCorben Great! – I was at friendraiser & mentioned already prior to meida, & will be back 9.10 @brooklynboy1 @BillyCorben

Someone tell that to Corben.
@VoteLevine @aemossberg Excellent,thanks. When and where can we do this?
